This course is team-based, and a significant portion of the grade will be derived from the team's progress and project. The grading criteria are outlined as follows: - **Team Project (Pg):** Evaluated on a scale from 0 to 20 with two decimal points, computed as a linear combination of 3 items graded on a 0 to 20 integer scale: - **35% - Out-of-the-Building Customer Discovery Progress (Pc):** Assessed based on: - Quality of interview reports each week. - Weekly formulation and validation of business model hypotheses. All team members are expected to conduct interviews and contribute to the bi-weekly reports. - **25% - Team Bi-Weekly P-Class Presentations (Pp):** Team members may be called upon to present their team's findings for that week and must: - State the number of interviews conducted over the two weeks (include on the cover slide). - Provide detailed accounts of what the team accomplished that two weeks, including any changes to the Business Model Canvas (BMC). - Adhere to the assigned topics outlined in the syllabus for each week. - **40% - Team Final Presentation and Demonstration Video (Pf).** - **Individual Contribution (Ci):** Assessed on a scale from 0.0 to 1.5, where 1 signifies a student contribution equal to the average contribution of fellow team members. It is measured by: - Number of interviews conducted by the student. - Number of contributions to the business model provided by the student. - Opinions of fellow team members at the end of the course. - Knowledge about the project, as demonstrated by answering questions during the final lessons learned presentation. - **Individual Involvement (Ei):** Rated from 0-5, where 0 indicates very low involvement, 3 is average, and 5 is high involvement. - P-class participation. - Involvement with the team in T-class activities - Quality of peer-to-peer comments provided throughout the semester during class presentations.
