Effective [[customer development]] necessitates the development of a [[minimum viable product (MVP)]]. Therefore, each team should aim for the following applicable goals:
1. Teams developing a [[physical product]] must have a bill of materials and a prototype. The product should also have an associated website showcasing its features to attract potential customers.
2. Teams working on a [[digital product]] should aim to develop a partially functional app (either web or mobile) along with a website designed to generate demand and attract customers.
3. Each team's weekly online narrative (using a digital tool) is an essential part of the deliverables. It is how instructors assess their progress, and teams are required to maintain and update it at least once per week, or after each customer insight.
4. Every team is required to present an in-class PowerPoint summary of their progress every two weeks. The presentation must be submitted before the start of class.
