![[eitt-banner.png]] Welcome to the 2024-25 edition of the Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Technology Transfer (EITT) course. More information about this course edition is available on the [course page in the Fenix system](https://fenix.tecnico.ulisboa.pt/disciplinas/EITT36/2024-2025/2-semestre). Prof. Luis Caldas de Oliveira (LCO) will teach the 2024-25 edition of the Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Technology Transfer (EITT) course. ## Initial Statement This course is not about entrepreneurship theory or examining business cases and successful entrepreneurs. Instead, it focuses on the next generation of entrepreneurs: the students. The goal is to enable students to act as entrepreneurs and experience the challenges of identifying and executing a new business opportunity based on technology. Students will utilize the [[Business Model Canvas (BMC)]] to design their business models, use [[agile development]] in their projects, apply the [[customer development]] methodology to validate their hypotheses and employ [[artificial intelligence (AI)]] tools to enhance efficiency. ## Teamwork Students will participate in collaborative teamwork, forming teams of 5 or 6, to develop a sustainable business model for a technology selected by them, aimed at addressing a real-world problem. Learning to work effectively in teams is important, as it reflects the collaborative nature of the modern workplace and encourages diverse perspectives, creativity, and problem-solving skills. Through teamwork, students will improve their communication and interpersonal abilities, learn to manage group dynamics and utilize each member's strengths to achieve common goals. To achieve these objectives **all team members must be enrolled in the same shift** and attend the same classes. ## Modules - [[EITT Course Logistics]] - [[Technology Assessment]] - [[Key Concepts on EITT]] - [[Developing an Innovation Mindset]] - [[An Introduction to the Business Model Canvas]] - [[Testing Business Model Hypotheses]] - [[What Will Be Your Unique Value?]] - [[Who Will Be Your Target Market?]] - [[How Will You Deliver Your Value?]] - [[How Will You Gain and Keep Customers?]] - [[How Will You Generate Revenue?]] - [[Who Will Be Your Key Partners?]] - [[What Resources Will You Need?]] - [[What Will Be Your Key Activities?]] - [[What Will Be Your Costs?]] - [[How Will You Pitch Your Story?]] ## Resources - [[Udacity - How to Build a Startup]] - [[Y Startup School]] ## Classes 2024-25 - Week 1 (Feb-17 to Feb-21) - Wed: [[TClass01 - Logistics and Team Formation]] - Week 2 (Feb-24 to Feb-28) - Wed: [[TClass02 - Technology Assessment]] - Thu: [[PClass02-Thu - Team Formation]] - Fri: [[PClass02-Fri - Team Formation]] - Week 3 (Mar-3 to Mar-7) - Wed: [[TClass03 - Key Concepts on EITT]] - Thu: [[PClass03-Thu - Teams and Tecnologies (A)]] - Fri: [[PClass03-Fri - Teams and Tecnologies (A)]] - Week 4 (Mar-10 to Mar-14) - Wed: [[TClass04 - Developing an Innovation Mindset and An Introduction to the Business Model Canvas]] - Thu: [[PClass04-Thu - Teams and Technologies (B)]] - Fri: [[PClass04-Fri - Teams and Technologies (B)]] - Week 5 (Mar-17 to Mar-21) - Wed: [[TClass05 - Testing Business Model Hypotheses]] - Thu: [[PClass05-Thu - Business Model Canvas (A)]] - Fri: [[PClass05-Fri - Business Model Canvas (A)]] - Week 6 (Mar-24 to Mar-28) - Wed: [[TClass06 - What Will Be Your Unique Value?]] - Thu: [[PClass06-Thu - Business Model Canvas (B)]] - Fri: [[PClass06-Fri - Business Model Canvas (B)]] - Week 7 (Mar-31 to Apr-4) - Wed: [[TClass07 - Who Will Be Your Target Market?]] - Thu: [[PClass07-Thu - Value Proposition (A)]] - Fri: [[PClass07-Fri - Value Proposition (A)]] - Week 8 (Apr-28 to May-2) - Wed: [[TClass08 - How Will You Deliver Your Value and How Will You Gain and Keep Customers?]] - Thu: [[PClass08-Thu - May 1st Holiday]] - Fri: [[PClass08-Fri - Value Proposition and Customer Segments (B)]] - Week 9 (May-5 to May-9) - Wed: [[TClass09 - How Will You Generate Revenue?]] - Thu: [[PClass09-Thu - Value Proposition, Customer Segments, Channels, Customer Relationships (B)]] - Fri: [[PClass09-Fri - Customer Segments, Channels, Customer Relationships (A)]] - Week 10 (May-12 to May-16) - Wed: [[TClass10 - Who Will Be Your Key Partners?]] - Thu: [[PClass10-Thu - Customer Segments, Channels, Customer Relationships, and Revenue Streams (A)]] - Fri: [[PClass10-Fri - Channels, Customer Relationships, and Revenue Streams (B)]] - Week 11 (May-19 to May-23) - Wed: [[TClass11 - What Resources Will You Need, What Will Be Your Key Activities and What Will Be Your Costs?]] - Thu: [[PClass11-Thu - Revenue Streams and Partners (B)]] - Fri: [[PClass11-Fri - Revenue Streams and Partners (A)]] - Week 12 (May-26 to May-30) - Wed: [[TClass12 - How Will You Pitch Your Story?]] - Thu: [[PClass12-Thu - Partners, Key Resources, Key Activities, and Cost Structure (A)]] - Fri: [[PClass12-Fri - Partners, Key Resources, Key Activities, and Cost Structure (B)]] - Week 13 (Jun-2 to Jun-6) - Wed: [[TClass13 - Final Lessons Learned]] - Thu: [[PClass13-Thu Final Lessons Learned]] - Fri: [[PClass13-Fri Final Lessons Learned]] - Week 14 (Jun-9 to Jun-13) - Wed: [[TClass14 - Final Class Event]]
