There will be some checkpoints in the learning process in the form of short in-class quizzes. In the [[SLP course grading criteria]], these checkpoints are referred to as MAP10. These quizzes not only provide feedback for students on their understanding of the material and reinforce key concepts but also help instructors assess students' understanding of the material. Only the three best grades out of all the quizzes will be considered. If their average is higher than the final exam grade, this average will count for 20% of your final grade. If the average is not higher than the final exam grade, then only the final exam score be used for the final grade. Checkpoints will use the Moodle learning management system. To answer the quiz students can use a web browser or install the Moodle application on their mobile phone.
